We are using GitHub Pages to host the new website for NEA Members for Our Revolution. In addition to being available without charge, the workflow for editing and deploying changes to the website is fantastic. Regular git commits update the website at the same time as the source repository.
While the cost and workflow can't be beat, I did not want to use the default URL. Fortunately, GitHub makes this easy to do as well, providing clear, easy to follow instructions to guide you through the process. I did run into some difficulty since I had two domains and wanted them both to work, and GitHub only supports one custom domain. I had originally purchased neamembersforourrevolution.us, which my good friend Paul Flint convinced me was unacceptably long, so I purchased nea4or.us, which after confirming with the rest of the current members of our group was definitely preferred.
